The NPR Top 100 SFF Books Meme

NPR recently published the list of the top 100 science fiction and fantasy books as voted for by the public.

Here's the way I did it
1) strike out the ones you've read
2) italicise the ones you started to read but didn't finish
3) bold the ones you have but haven't read

By my calculation, I have read 19 out of the 100. Rather pathetic, but... I could list a dozen or more series that I think are better than the things on this list that I have read. Mostly what these memes teach me is that I am very much about reading what I think I'll like and find interesting, not about what I 'should' be reading. Because, seriously? Xanth? If you're going for Anthony, at least pick the much less worse Incarnations of Immortality series!

You know the drill, random music selection (except I did skip over anything instrumental, and it did get to a point where if I didn't start skipping over a group HALF of the quiz would have been just them, maybe it was a geographo), guess the song (no Googling!) and artist. We have 20 today, two are really hard, one is a gimme.

I feel a little bad, I wouldn't get some of these, because they're the songs on the albums I don't listen to very much - but I just imported entire artist collections onto my computer, so...
