So, physical therapy. She doesn't think the problem is what my doctor thinks, and I'm inclined to agree with her. She did give me some exercises to do (I did not know how many muscles there were between my shoulder blades!) And a bif rubber band. For this, I shall have to fork over $200. Yay. Anyway, she seems to think it's either an inflamed ... uh, bursa thingee or a bone spur-like thing. Either way, though, something has recently aggrevated it and she supposes getting my shoulder strength up should help stabilize the whole area.
Yesterday we had a yoga class at work. I can get behind the stretching, but the whole 'centering and quieting your mind' bit is beyond me.
Our health fair is today. I had cookies and sugary cereal for breakfast, and plan on drinking lots of coffee - we'll see what me blood sugar and blood pressure numbers are. Also, maybe this time I'll take a bit more care with the health risk assessment and not accidentally tell them I smoke cigars. Maybe that will nudge me from 'very good' to 'excellent'. My score was 83, which on the bar graph looks to be between those two. Wish me luck!
