There is nothing worse than waking up with a headache - ugh

Please explain to me how, on a cloudy day while sitting in the shade, I can turn bright red? I know I've avoided the sun lately (like, the last 15 years) and for the most part can rival the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man when it comes to whiteness, but seriously!

The only other theory is that it was so hot and humid that exposed skin boiled on contact with the air.

But YAY! the Royals won. And it's a good thing I took a little bit of a nap yesterday when we got home, because I certainly didn't get much sleep last night. It might as well have been daylight for the continuous flashes of lightning outside.

Interesting fact: look at the picture and notice the round, sloping shoulders. I cannot carry a purse or bag on my shoulder without holding it up because it will slip right off. Bloody annoying, it is. Unless it's really really heavy, then it will stay in place. But mostly? Nope, just keeps slippin' off. 'Purse keeps on slippin'... onto the pavement...'
