Lots to say, no time to say it!

On that note, I have a whole post in my head about 'not enough time' and 'not enough money' (though probably not what you think) but that will have to wait. Plus one on extreme couponing I started to write. Plus a craft update. Because...

I DANCE MY FIST BELLYDANCE SOLO TOMORROW.

TOMORROW.

TO-MORROW.

Yup. Plus a troupe dance. So anyway, I need to:

1. Bake cookies for the picnic tomorrow.
2. Go to class today.
3. Attend a bellydance show tonight, because we said we would, even though...
4. Finish my hair bobbles for both dances.
5. Practice?
6. Crochet a poof for the top of my tail for the troupe dance (um, long story...)
7. BREATHE.

Here's a pic of part of my solo costume - YAY, I took the plunge and bought a real, hardware-store grommet set and it is so much easier than the 'quick, easy' tool from the craft store - the corset, not the blue. I just happened to be wearing blue today, and was too lazy to change into the full costume.



Now, off to fry some bacon for the bacon cookies. Oh yes - BACON COOKIES. They are awesome.

That is an awesome corset! It looks great with that outfit, but I'm pretty sure I would like that outfit on its own, too. Good luck with your performance!

Thanks! I have a suspicion we may have similar taste in clothing... :D

I plan on tweaking the pattern to make it fit a little better (apparently I am extremely short-waisted) but it'll do for a 2-minute dance tomorrow. I've got some other corset patterns I've been dying to try, too, I just need to get my crafting area cleaned up and together enough to enjoy spending the time doing it!

Also the fact that hardware grommets being easier than crafting grommets is sending me to the store to look at the hardware version.....

I forgot to say thanks for the vote of confidence! It did go well, though I am trying to get a video to show people (a friend took a video on her iphone, but left for 3 weeks in Canada before I could get it from her).

We practice too all sorts of music, some traditional, some not so much.

Yes, and they are AWESOME. :D
