It was supposed to start raining last night and rain all today. It did not, which means I spent all morning (okay, early afternoon, I didn't get home until 2 am so it's not like I saw any of the actual morning...) working out in the back yard. We raked up all the stupid spikey balls (Sweet Gum tree), mowed the back yard (he did), and chopped up a pallet and the old cabinet and got them stuffed in the trash can. Pretty good amount accomplished today.

I also had another one of those... 'special' moments.

Me (after pulling the compost bags out to the front of the house and down to the curb): You know, I saw a bunch of people have a bunch of cars parked outside, and the first thing I thought was 'what big sporting event is going on today? What are we missing?'

Him: Yeeeaaaaah, you're going to hell.

I will, however, be celebrating half-price candy Monday tomorrow! Mmmmmm, cheap Cadbury Creme Eggs...

My sympathies. And congratulations. I've been drowning in Easter references. The local church even papered my car to invite me to services. How you managed to miss it until today I have no idea. Not that he had any right to say any such thing.

Ooooh, chocolate eggs.

I knew, but I kept forgetting. Probably because we don't really do anything out of the ordinary. We don't celebrate Easter, I celebrate 'Cadbury Egg Season'. Also, not a real holiday unless I get days off work...

(He didn't mean anything bad by it, just joking, neither of us are in any way religious...)
