Ah,summer! Things started to feel more... normal? Not entirely, of course, but things were going on and frankly, even back then, compassion fatigue was setting in. You just can't stay that stressed for that long.
Though sometimes, the more things change, the more they stay the same. So. Much. Animal Crossing!
We could finally pick up books from the library! Only through the drive-through, but, yay, new books!
I started participating in an online book group with fun events, like the "create a picture of a book title" (which, I'm not bragging, but I won with this "Grapes of Wrath entry!)
Emma remained awesome.
Spent some times with friends (though only a very select few!)
Work was back to being work... have the bricks in the courtyard always had this scew-up?
Got the most amazing present from a coworker, making me Bearilwen! (Oxventure)
And thus the summer proceeded to be a fairly uneventful (thankfully) one.
