Started out with a new "read with a dog" book club at Always and Furever, the first (and thus far last) moth of that activity, and this was my very sweet reading partner!

Then came the days of uncertainty. We were sent home from work on March 13th with very little communication, not a lot of indication when we'd be back. And I don't mean "work from home", just "sent home". It was weird and unnerving but in the end we were paid for the time off and it was just an extra 6 weeks of vacation (and do not for a moment think I don't realize how luck I am for that), and during the first two weeks at the end of March I...

Played with Lego

Drank way too much wine at unreasonable hours

And got two new games that promptly swallowed my entire life (well, one of them)

I am very happy I had several friends from work I texted with that kept me sane, especially as the days dragged on and there was really very little word from the powers that be at work about any sort of plan for our return. I do still find it ... not funny haha, but funny ... that back in those days there were less than a dozen known cases in the county and everything was shut down, now there are thousands and it's (other than masks and floor stickers) business as usual.
