If the world had ended, I wouldn't have to admit to a TYPO. But there it is. Anyway, it's not longer the 21st anywhere, so we just have to assume the GIANT SPACE GUPPY got distracted by a castle and did not, in fact, eat the Earth.
How the winning ticket was chosen, if you're curious: I painted over all of the answers so you couldn't tell what they were. My husband picked a random ticket. He scratched off ONE square, and that was the winning answer. When I put the tickets in the cards I had no idea which was which. I do have five cards left over, and there should have been 10 winning tickets (discounting the one he scratched off), so there are at a minimum five winners (if all the ones I still have are winners, which is very unlikely). No two tickets were alike.
How to win: If I see you in person, show me your ticket. Otherwise, you can email me a picture, or post a picture on FB or your blog and make sure I see it. What you will win? That depends on who you are. I will tailor the gift to fit you. So someone like a big burly guy won't win a hip scarf... but a bellydancer might. ;)
Hope you had fun with this year's card, I'm already in the planning stages for next year! If you got one this year, you'll get one next year (unless you move) and if you missed out, make sure I have your address for next year and you'll be on "the list". :D Merry not the end of the world, everyone!

What kind of paint did you use?

The paint was regular acrylic paint, BUT! you mix 2 parts dishwashing soap to 1 part paint. I started off trying to use pure gold, but you could REALLY see through that, even after a lot of layers. Next time I'll buy silver paint (I had the gold laying around, and goodness knows I don't need to buy more art/craft supplies...).
