Tomorrow is a holiday, and I've taken off both Thursday and Friday. Yay! 5 day weekend!
News of note:
My arm/shoulder seems much better this morning, but I do need to remember to continue to baby it, least I re-injure it.
(I am again doused in IcyHot, but no where near the burning of last night, I think the long bath opened up my pores more than usual and it was more...potent)
Operation: Waffle Iron Cinnamon Buns was a success. I figure only about half of what you see on Pinterest will actually work, so it was a pleasant surprise. They don't really taste any different than ones made in the oven, but there are two advantages: 1) you don't have to heat up the oven (important in both time and not wanting to heat up the house when it's so hot out) 2) they cook very, very quickly.
(yes, I had nothing but a roll of cinnamon buns for dinner, what of it?)
The soap in the bathroom at work is being replaced, thank goodness. A few weeks ago we noticed that the soap had an incredibly foul odor. Kind of like rotting vegetation, if you ask me. After much complaint, and even after a thorough cleaning of the soap dispensers, they checked and it was the same soap we've always had. They were at a loss... our choices seemed to be 1) not wash our hands 2) have stinky hands 3) buy our own soap (by the way, we'd chosen option 3 thank you very much!). Then the soap company admitted there had been a problem with the fragrance of a very large batch, and they would replace it. Yay!
(yes, that was a rambling, meaningless story)
I'm considering a writing challenge that will take me far out of my comfort zone. The question is, if I do it strictly on paper, letting no one see, start up a secret second journal and do it for real on-line, but anonymously, or just bite the bullet and do it here (probably not really an option, the closest to that would probably be linking the other journal for those interested). Hrm.
(yes, it's smut, what else would it be that I wouldn't write... and I'll even do humorous smut - the crochet hook and the knitting needle getting it on - so this would be of the serious variety, and I'm really not sure I can do that)
It's Friday! Wheeeee! And I smell overwhelmingly wintergreen fresh (see first news item).

Yes, it is! The biggest problem I have with getting a second journal is thinking of a name... I have such a hard time thinking of anything that will suit. :/
