I'm all for small businesses. In fact, if no one ever bought anything made overseas, the US would have to start making more things. We'd have to make due with a lot less, because things would be much more expensive, but we're a pretty spoiled country (not that I'm complaining, I do like my stuff).
But the quote on the stop black Friday website pissed me off.
The credit cards the 99% will overcharge will allow the 1% to enrich themselves...
No, let's not require people to take any personal responsibility and, oh, I don't know, maybe not overcharge?
This 99% crap is so... mercurial. Occupiers were quoted as saying the miscreants and thugs that created havoc at protests "aren't part of the 99%"... which apparently means they are now protesting only the richest 0.5% and the bottom 0.5% dregs of society.
I'm not part of the 1% (either way, top or bottom!), but neither am I really part of this 99%, which means I guess I don't exist.
