I'm back!
I can tell you all missed me so much. :) The dogs was exuberant for all of three minutes, then she fell back into ignoring me.
I actually got back last night, but was too tired to do anything. 12 hours of driving will do that. I ended up taking the 'northern' route: Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and (finally) Kansas. It sucks living on the edge of a state, I couldn't even say I was 'close' (in my own state) until I was 30 minutes from home. All in all (other than the 45 minutes I spent it stop-and-go traffic in the mountains of either Maryland or West Virginia the first day - making me realize that standard transmissions are fun, but also painful occasionally) it was an amazingly boring drive. I keep saying that some day I'll take a trip where the purpose isn't the destination, but the journey. And then it will be fun. But if I could have teleported myself home (and there, for that matter, even though flying was much faster than driving), I would have. Not much of a traveler, me. More of a 'destinationer'.
And, yes I could have gone to work today, since I got back last night. And maybe I should have, what with all the stuff I have to do and the dwindling vacation. But darn it, it's my birthday and I havefun important things to do like... go to the DMV to renew the tags on our cars and go grocery shopping. Fun fun!
Also, since it's almost that time, my NaNo profile is here. Feel free to buddy me!
And if I've missed anything important (I scrolled through quickly once, but will go back through my friends - not the communities - more carefully when I get back fromhell the DMV and grocery store) please, let me know!

I got the package you sent, I love everything, but ESPECIALLY the beaded anklet and necklace. I love them so much- a perfect match to my forget-me-not tattoo on my ankle!
