She seems to have injured her hip again - she gets along just fine walking on level ground, but can't seem to manage the stairs very well and won't jump up on the furniture. I hope she gets better soon - last time we had to carry her up and down the stairs for weeks! Partly, I think, because she got used to it and hammed it up. Still, I feel for her, because she can't tell me what's wrong and I have no idea what to do to make her feel better.

And she seems so... down. Droopy. I guess being hurt will do that, but it's still depressing. She actually did not come meet us at the door last night when we got back from swimming! (900 yards without stopping, thank you very much!)

And I really, really, really need to clean and do laundry. Ugh. Don't wanna.

On a last note: Go KU! Go Texas! Go Rays! :D

Poor puppy!

Thanks, I think she's getting better. Now starts the 'milking it' phase. Anyone who doesn't think dogs are that smart... has never had a conniving little pooch!

Poor doggie! And poor you. Having a sick/injured pet is heartbreaking.

Thanks, I know. If only I could talk to her!

Hope the puppy pie feels better soon. :(

Thanks! I think she is. She seemed perkier (and more waggy) this morning.

I hope she feels better soon- is it an arthritis sort of ailment? The weather here is definitely shifting from golden warm autumn, to wet chilly autumn. Sending good thoughts your way!

It came on too fast to be arthritis, I think. One hour she was fine, the next... not so much. We think it was either the food (binding her up - she did puke later) or a re-injury of her hip (she damaged it pretty good a few months ago, and wouldn't put weight on it for a week).

But, yeah, it was also a cold and wet day, so you never know. And, as much as I hate to admit it, she's getting up there in years - she's going to be 10-ish in Feb!
