To the time when (hopefully) I will be holding Lego Batman in my hands. Unfortunately, I just realized that I don't have the receipt - he must have put it in the bag (I was buying other things at the time) instead of handing it to me to put in my purse. I have my DL and the credit card I used to buy it, but if that's not enough I guess I'll have a long ride home to go get it. Ah, well, at least I have it reserved and it's not like they can give my copy away (especially since I didn't just put $5 down, I paid for the whole thing already).

In other bad news, there are no Best Buys in the area that have Colonization in stock. Mr. Smeddley will be very sad if I can't find him a copy. If Gamestop (where my copy of LB is) doesn't have it, should I hit up Wal-mart and/or Target, you think? I can't think of anywhere else that would have it!

It sounds like you reserved Lego Batman at GameStop, yes? I have reserved with them a number of times, and never needed the receipt. They've always gone off the phone number and name.

Yeah, they just wanted my DL to confirm I was me - I was quite happy about that, since I live a good 30 minutes away!

Check Steam for Colonization: http://store.steampowered.com/

You can download it tonight!

Don't worry about the receipt. They don't require it when you pick up your game.

Best Buy had it - I stopped by to check in person just in case their web site was wrong, and they did have some still boxed up in the back. Because, you know, no one ever wants to get a game the day it's released or anything. *rolls eyes*

When I went to buy Lego Indiana Jones there they hadn't put it out yet, either. I had to pester an employee for that game, too. And come to think of it... I don't know that I saw Lego Batman out on the shelves yet...
