Today has been so distressing that I almost forgot to post round three! And don't forget that rounds one and two are still open, don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it!

Ha! I think I may have OD-ed over the weekend... O.o
Monday, March 24th, 2008 05:48 pm (UTC)
I don't speak morse code.
Monday, March 24th, 2008 05:49 pm (UTC)
Well, you do get half a point for that!
Monday, March 24th, 2008 05:50 pm (UTC)
I'M ON THE BOARD!!!
Monday, March 24th, 2008 05:51 pm (UTC)
You can buy, like, half an icon at the end!
Monday, March 24th, 2008 06:14 pm (UTC)
I hate you.

Morse code, I think. But eff it, it's hard. And my brain hurts.

I suck at Snerffle this year. I can't get /any/ of the things.
Monday, March 24th, 2008 06:59 pm (UTC)
D: *sniffle* ...hate me? :(

It is harder, I know, but that's why there are clues! And don't get too hung up on the right answer (though you are going in the right direction) - remember that creative answers get you the same points as a boring old right answer! That hasn't changed!
Monday, March 24th, 2008 07:02 pm (UTC)
Well, not hate you-hate you. Just having a hard time figuring out the twists and turns of your wily mind lol.

Lol yeah. I've just not been terribly creative lately. *sniffs* Between school and this stupid cold that won't go away and trying to churn out writing samples for a potential job, I'm creatived out.

Though I can still verb nouns, ha!
Monday, March 24th, 2008 07:43 pm (UTC)
I know what you mean, my creativity is being wrung dry just coming up with rounds! I haven't written anything in goodness knows how long.

And I totally feel you on the cold. I'm entering week two and I'm so tired of it. I was up most of last night coughing. Ugh. I need to get better soon, and it relaly needs to warm up!

Spaces between letters might help...
Monday, March 24th, 2008 07:10 pm (UTC)
Oh, crap. I forgot about how HTML doesn't let you do more than one space after another - the e-mail I sent in had it all done perfectly. Lemme nip over to the library and code in my 'nbsp'.

EDIT: There, that should be right. I hate that about HTML!

Monday, March 24th, 2008 08:21 pm (UTC)
OH! Well that makes a big difference!!!
Monday, March 24th, 2008 08:10 pm (UTC)
Because I'm a visual person, the first thing I saw was two people in bed with the covers pulled up to their noses... but then I realized that this is Morse Code, but without any indication of where letters start or stop. *sigh* This is going to take awhile for me to uncode. I tried to cheat and put it into a Java Morse Code Decoder, but got:
ETTTTTTETTEEEEETTTTTETTEETTEETTTTTETTEETEETEEETTETTETTTEEEEEETETTEEETTEE

as it interpreted every space as an indication of a new letter.

Of course, what better distress signal, than saying you need TEA?

By the way, this answer is full of awesome.
Monday, March 24th, 2008 08:26 pm (UTC)
Ah, yes. I love this art. See here a great still life of the late Dot Versus Dash war. See how the Dot's of fewer number fight bravely against the numerous, well organized Dash's on the field of battle, clumping back to back for any strategic advantage they can hold. Futile is their struggle as the Dash's press the attack and the Dot's lose their ground inch by inch. History would have us call them villains, but as you see here in this dramatic display they were heroes of their own right.

A+ for creativity!
Monday, March 24th, 2008 08:47 pm (UTC)
It's tough to tell if the code is still off, or if this round is also a bit of wheel of fortune guessing...
W?ATIST?AT??ATFREAKYTHING?

What is that ______ freaky thing?
I need that other adjective in order to say what that freaky thing is!

Or is it: What is that? Hat freaky thing?
If so, my answer is:
Spacecraft Panda Mask (http://thegoat.backcountry.com/blog/2007/10/24/spacecraft-panda-mask-more-freaky-than-cuddly/)
And how did I get that answer? I entered freaky hat thing into Google Image Search. ha!
Monday, March 24th, 2008 08:58 pm (UTC)
*sigh* This is why I should not rush things when 1) I'm sick and 2) I really don't have the time to do it right. But it should be fixed now! Sorry, and have a +1 on me for noticing and pointing it out.
Monday, March 24th, 2008 09:01 pm (UTC)
No, this makes it more fun!! Don't be so hard on yourself! Forget the +1 for noticing, how about a +2 for that freaky panda ski mask, eh?

Snerfflebarglast is making me surf the web in all sorts of random ways!
Monday, March 24th, 2008 10:32 pm (UTC)
That was freaky. I'm not sure what someone was thinking when they came up with that idea, but the commentary was priceless!
Monday, March 24th, 2008 09:00 pm (UTC)
Well, I thought it was a ninja. Maybe Pen isn't as good an icon maker as I thought...
Monday, March 24th, 2008 10:34 pm (UTC)
Okay, you get half credit for getting the question, and although that wasn't what it was referring to (a polite way of saying 'wrong answer!') you totally get full marks for the subtle dig at one of your competitors.
Monday, March 24th, 2008 10:30 pm (UTC)
It's an R.O.U.I. (rodent of unusual immodesty)... With a theme song!
Monday, March 24th, 2008 11:40 pm (UTC)
I SEE A PTERODACTYL! A FLAMETHROWER!! NO! A PTERODACTYL WITH A FLAMETHROWER.

...Well, either that or oceans of seagulls and seasgull shit.

Take THAT! How do you like it?! ;P

Now seriously, why are you trying to make me think? It's painful. You know what they say about the brains of pregnant women, don't you?
Tuesday, March 25th, 2008 09:37 pm (UTC)
Apparently, that freaky thing is a naked mole rat.

And as somebody who spends far too much time at the zoo, let me also tell you that those little things really ARE very freaky indeed.

What is that? That freaky thing?

OMG, it's a pirate ship! And is that Jack Sparrow at the helm?!

But wait, in the sky! Swooping down low, it looks like a spaceship of sorts ... is that Jack O'Neill piloting it? I think it is!

And they're closing in on something ... I can't quite make it out ... is it a group of ninjas on a desert isle?

Oooh my goodness, both Jacks are shirtless now. How very ... interesting ;)

I wonder how this is going to end ...

It's a computer screen, Smeddley. Have you been taking your medication?
Thursday, July 3rd, 2008 01:10 am (UTC)
Its morse code!
And that freak is thinking that she was going to stump me...but she forgot I was abducted by Zombie Aliens in 1912 and can read Morse Code...
