Oh, carp

So I thought I'd have all of Saturday to work on my Tetris afghan to (maybe) finish it on time. But no, I completely forgot about time zones. So while the closing ceremony ends at midnight on Aug 24th in China, that's 11am on the 23rd for me.

Oh, carp.

So I have 5 days to:

1) rip out and re-crochet the 6 squares I messed up
2) finish the other 148 'squares'
3) finish the lines
4) crochet the border

Nope, not gonna make it.

How did these people get afghans done in 3 days?! Am I that slow? Wow, I'm bad... Why do I sign up for these things?!

I'm guessing those people didn't have fulltime jobs?

Look at the progress you did make though! Too far along to set it aside at least, right?

You can probably finish it by the closing ceremonies in London. In 2010.
