Everyone knows the heroine in vampire novels must be immune to his thrall. It's one of those things that makes her such a very special little snowflake. Because, of course, we must know that it is ~*twu wuv*~ and not a hypnotic trance that makes her fall for tall, dark, and blood-sucking. But a lesser known fact is that it's not only special snowflakes that are immune; there's a whole other class of people left completely unaffected by a vampire's special gift. You see, a vampire's gift plays on your own emotions. They can make you sigh in bliss when you'd normally cry out in terror. They can make you desire them even if, normally, you'd find them as attractive as week-old roadkill. And they can make you scream in heart-stopping panic for no reason at all. But they can do none of these things if you don't know what bliss, terror, desire, or panic are.

They can't effect you if you're an emotionless sociopath.

Hmm, creepy thought. Sounds like a plot bunny.

It could be - I don't know if I'll ever follow it up on it, though. There are so many of them!

I wonder if it would be hard to affect autistic people, too.

There's an interesting thought. Probably, though that's not a story I'd want to wrestle with.

Are you thinking of a Twilight/Dexter cross-over? (or dare I say, Edward/Dexter slash?)

Dexter's the pussiest psychopath I have ever had the displeasure of being forced to watch.

I was thinking that - not the slash part, more a Dexter meets Twilight. Also, I keep forgetting to write a post thanking you, so I will do it now before I forget.

OMG THANK YOU! :D

Yeah, I was just kidding about the slash, though the thought is quite hysterical.

You are quite welcomed, I thought second season was quite exciting. I forgot to mention that you might need VLC on your computer to play it, or did you get it to work already?
