IT HAS BEEN FOUND.

On a morning where I was running late (woke up very late after not getting to sleep until after 2) and scurrying about the house like a spastic rhesus monkey on crack, I did the miraculous.

I FOUND THE CHECKBOOK.

(For those of you who don't know, we lost the checkbook - in its lovely leather checkbook cover, the only thing I felt bad about - when we moved. In May. Of 2005.)

I'm sure you're all dying to know where it's been hiding so well these 3+ years. After all, we'd unpacked all the boxes, and riffled through all the drawers... but I never thought to look...

It is funny, I admit. And it made me insanely happy!

I was mostly inviting mock for the fact that I own a Wishbone lunchbox... :)

Yes, the dog - though I do like Wishbone Italian dressing... not enough to carry a lunchbox around with it...

Ah, but we don't have the tradition of lunchboxes like that over here (we use Tupperware) and I have no idea who is Wishbone. But I will join in the general mockage ;)
