So I was all set to complain about Amazon, because something disappeared off my wish list to be replaced with 'no longer stocked' or some such - and NO indication of what was taken off. Of course I can't remember but it was probably something fabulous that I'll never get now because I won't remember.

But then... then I saw that they've added a feature where you can add things to your wish list from other sites. So you have one wish list that links to any other internet site. How cool is that? Many a thing from ThinkGeek now populate my wish list. I is a happy camper. That is pretty durn cool. There will be more things added from many more places.

If you have an Amazon profile, gimme your username or a link to your profile and I'll add you to my list of interesting peeps. And if I win the lottery, I might even buy you something from your wish list, provided it's cheap enough. ;)

I'm still not ready to say anything about LJ's latest move, I fear it will cost me some of my friends here. Not what I have to say, but what they might do. So just... if you go, leave me a link in my journal to a place I can find you, okay? I need to go through and bookmark people's other sites, I know.

Is it just me (it often is) but is there suddenly a big block of text in the comment pages on standard pages? The site map stuff. Was that there before? It looks odd to me and I would have thought if it'd been there I'd be used to it, and yet I think I remember having this feeling before, so maybe I'm just that unobservant? But then why notice it now?

Oh, sweet Friday. How I have big plans for the weekend that probably won't be realized.

Also, to the aliens that stole Mr. Smeddley and replaced him with a near-exact duplicate, thank you. I can now navigate in my garage from my car door to the door to the house without looking like a spy twisting their way through a maze of laser-beam alarm triggers. Thankfully without the spandex catsuit, but uncomfortable and ridiculous looking nonetheless.

Re: LJ thingie, I'm looking forward to Dreamwidth and am going to be helping them the best I can. I won't leave LJ, I'll still come here to read my friends, but I'm not going to invest in it anymore...come to think of it, I haven't for a while.

The bottom site map thingie is new.

New profile layout in the works, for those who haven't seen it.

My that is hideous! I feel like crap that I just tossed another year's worth of paid account at them, but they were starting to show signs of being decent. *sigh* I should have known better.

I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and create a bunch of accounts in a bunch of different places, and maybe become computer-savy enough to find a way to read everything easily enough! O.o

Wait, what did they do? I think I missed something.

Hmm. That doesn't seem so bad.

But if basic accounts are going to be forced to see (or make others see) additional ads, they're basically (hurr) going to have the disadvantage of the plus accounts but none of the advantages.

That happened to me too (the thing disappearing off my wishlist). I'm annoyed, because I don't remember what it was! I guess I didn't want it all that much, then, heh.

Amazon always seems to make me happy after pissing me off, so I remain loyal. That's pretty awesome--I've seen sites that let you have wishlists from anywhere, but having it all on Amazon would be even more convenient. Here's my profile! (http://www.amazon.com/gp/pdp/profile/A399S8E5PNATSQ)

And yeah, that block of text is new. I think something like it has been there before--a long time ago--but this is bigger. When I first saw it I thought it was an ad that my AdBlockPlus had failed to recognize.
