I was about to make a simple, one-sentence post.

Why does no one post on Fridays?

Then I realized it's technically not Friday. Functionally it's Friday for me, since we have tomorrow off work, but really, knowing that should make it more obvious to me that it's not Friday, as I've been thinking about the long weekend all week. Longingly, even.

Why can't I keep my days straight?

And why does no one post much of anything at the end of the week? What, y'all have lives and weekends and such? ;)

I know what you mean. I've been on a commenting dry spell, I feel bad about it. But I did read about the air conditioning and all that, really, I did!

It's not a flagging / LJ thing, it's the library's net nanny program. It does some weird thing with 'weighted averages' of naughty words. So if you have three swear words in a 5,000 word rant, fine. But if you have three swear words in a four-word rant, it nixes it. And tells me that pages exceeds the 'weighted average for objectionable content'. Pfffff. It happens more often when I use my laptop there (they're stricter on the wireless part), and I could probably get a librarian to clear it for me (since I am an adult... physically), but it hardly seems worth the effort.

I can see everything written through the lynx/ssh thing, but I can't see pictures, so often I can't really comment on your posts that revolve around those. :( But I do always look (if not comment) when I get home. :)

I'm going through a spell of feeling like the most boring human being possible, and thus have very little to say. Unless you want a post about my riveting day spent mainly on the couch...

But yes, for most people I assume it has something to do with lives and weekends. ;)

That drives me crazy too. Fridays I'm usually especially in need for some anti-boredom. I love when people do memes and such on Fridays, just to get some posting going.
