I'm seriously thinking the universe is telling me to pack it in* and go to work tomorrow, it's not like I'll get anything done on my time off. And for awhile I thought of giving in. But then I decided to tell the universe to sod off.

If I even just get my office clean (almost half-way there!) it'll be a worthwhile vacation. So all I have to do is fit it in between two Royals games, a committee meeting (oh joy) and a dentist appointment (double joy).

Now, however, as soon as Mr. Smeddley cleans the kitchen, I'm off to make pancakes. Nothing like late-night pancakes. Mmmmmm....


*Either that, or the universe thinks I need some time off doing nothing, in which case I"m playing right into its hands.
