...and I'm a Lego star Wars -aholic. It started out innocently enough. Just helping out here and there when my husband needed an extra player on some of the levels - a little flying about, nothing big. But then we got the Xbox. And we could both sit and play. And with two people playing the camera doesn't zoom and swing as much, cutting back on my motion sickness issues. Suddenly, every night we were playing. It was eating up more and more of my free time (when was the last time I did a craft or read a book?!). Still, I figured that I could catch up on the laundry and cleaning the nights he worked. Except... last night, I went downstairs and played all by myself. True, it was storming and the dog was frightened, so it helped to be down in the basement, so she could sit on my lap and shiver (and pant and drool), instead of running about tripping over her all the time. And that seemed like a good enough reason to have spend from 5 pm to 11 pm (except for a short break to eat, then to make my husband dinner when he got home) playing. And maybe, just maybe the weather will cooperate and I'll *have* to stay down there all this evening, too...

No, seriously, I didn't even turn on my computer last night! I haven't checked LJ in... over a day! Hopefully I'll have time to do some catching up at lunch today, if I can get a computer at the library. Otherwise... goodness knows when it will be.

Are all of you who encouraged me to buy one happy now?! Are you?!

To the rest of you, sorry I've been neglecting you.

Lego Star Wars is one of the best games ever. Can't wait for Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Batman. I'm also betting we get a Lego Harry Potter at some point. There's also supposed to be a Lego MMORPG coming out.

I'm excited about the Indian Jones one, but I'm not a big Batman fan so I don't know if I'd like it. Lego Harry Potter would be AWESOME.

I'm fully aware of how addicting that game is. Good luck getting all of the tool kits!

My husband's played it lots of times, he's good at that. I'm just there to run around and pick up money!

See, you need the red brick that allows you to turn on stud magnet. They'll just flow right to you.

Which level is that in? I want it! We just bough 4X score to go with our 2X score, so the cash is piling in!

Which one do you have? We have both and I think I like the second one (based on the original three movies) better.

It's the Complete Saga one, so it has all 6 stories. I'm torn on which I like better, but I do lean towards the original ones. Actually, anything that's not flying is good. I suck at flying.

But we had enough money and the red brick for invincibility, so it's all good now!

I highly suggest getting enough money to get double or quadruple points because then you can get all the other stuff you need that much faster. Also, playing as one of the ghosts is highly effective.

EDIT: never mind, I see that you already did the multiple money thing

Lego Star Wars is pretty dang cool.

I wondered where you had wandered off to.

I never, ever suggested to anyone, at ANY time, to buy an xbox, 360 or otherwise. Other consoles... well, those are other stories ;)

I didn't pick the comsole, but I have to admit it was probably the best fit for my husband. I hate to admit it but I'd probably be a Wii kinda gal. Or, really, I would have been happy sticking to the computer, but now... :/

No shame there. The name's a bit funky, but it's a fun system.

That game sure is addicting and finding all the extra secret rivets is so hard. I'm actually going to buy that to play with my girlfriend soon so I hope it's as successful at hanging out as it has with you guys.

It is oddly addictive, plus there's the joy of getting to blow stuff up - who doesn't like that?! It works well two-person, EXCEPT the flying levels. That's too hard with two people. Also, if you don't have invincibilty it IS possible (and likely) to kill one another. Then again, good way to take out some aggression? ;) Good luck, we're having fun and I've never even been a gamer person!
