Oh, hey, it's Easter.
Crap.
I guess that means I won't go to the grocery store.
Holidays are really inconvenient, you know? It seems that every holiday I have something I need to do - or should be doing - but things are closed. Maybe I should pay more attention, if I'd remembered it was Easter today (and that the grocery store would be closed) I would have gone to the grocery store yesterday. But I didn't. I didn't even know Easter was this Sunday until Friday.
Maybe I should pay a wee bit more attention to my calendar? Though I'm not sure if Easter is on it. The only things I have are my Outlook at work (and I know we have to manually import some standard set or add the holidays one at a time - and I just checked, nope, not on my work calendar!) and my Outlook at home (which I'm not using at the moment, I need to deal with the archive issue). I'm sure we have some free calendar lying about in the house, but we never look at it.
And the stores are no help - they've had Easter stuff out for weeks! How was I supposed to know it really was almost here? *sigh*
If it's not a holiday that gets me time off work, I tend to forget them. I do need a better organizational/planning system, I guess. And I guess I can live without soda for one day. *whimper*
On the plus side... half price chocolate tomorrow! :D
(and Happy Easter to everyone)

Not here! I'm off to Starbucks for some coffee goodness, and I was so inclined, I could go on a serious shopping spree!
Not to rub it in your face or anything.

I'm sure there's something that's open today, but then again... Kansas... Bible Belt... Religious holiday... maybe not.
I'm just upset because I have nothing else to do, so now I might as well clean. Phooey.

I have a deep, psychological attachment to the Starbucks white chocolate mochas though, the smell, taste, & experience, all induce good feelings due to the memories it evokes... like PTSD, but in reverse.

Though, according to this movie (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0168987/) lesbian sex is indeed better than chocolate! (came across this movie years ago, randomly one late evening, and really enjoyed it, it was quite memorable)

I'm watching Across the Universe right now (though I may have to run out for a Starbucks fix now), that's how I'm choosing to celebrate today.
