...I'm too lazy to run down and get my purse right now. There are times I wish we had a ranch house (pretty much every time I go from the basement to the second floor in one go). But then, I think of what crappy(er) shape I'd be in if I didn't go up and down the stairs a million times a day... and as much as Shadow occasionally struggles with them now, I honestly think all the exercise is one of the things that has kept her young for her advanced years. My baby is going to be 14 in February (we don't really know, it's a guess, we adopted her in Feb and they said she was a year old). *sob*

My new computer keeps blinking the monitor black, and has given me some "display drivers stopped working" errors. That could be the monitor, it's fairly old. But it's also given me fits with burning CDs, not liking a blank CD that is currently merrily burning away in my laptop. Plus it wouldn't install FOUR of my new games.** *grumble* New things always worry me, at least I still have backups. *sigh*

Also, perhaps it's time to admit I really have a problem. You know that crochet hook case I've been looking for? Found it. On my desk. Yes, there was THAT MUCH stuff piled on my desk that I lost it. I really need to get more organized... *grump*

**So I decided to give it another go. Weirdest thing... so the installation process has one of those agreements (no one ever reads before they click "agree") and when you click the "I agree" button it turns into a "next" button, which I was then clicking and getting an error. And it all went downhill from there. However, I noticed I was getting the little circley "wait" symbol the minute I clicked "agree", so I waited. I did NOT click "next", and suddenly the program started installing and everything went fine! Go figure... :/
