...and I'm a Lego star Wars -aholic. It started out innocently enough. Just helping out here and there when my husband needed an extra player on some of the levels - a little flying about, nothing big. But then we got the Xbox. And we could both sit and play. And with two people playing the camera doesn't zoom and swing as much, cutting back on my motion sickness issues. Suddenly, every night we were playing. It was eating up more and more of my free time (when was the last time I did a craft or read a book?!). Still, I figured that I could catch up on the laundry and cleaning the nights he worked. Except... last night, I went downstairs and played all by myself. True, it was storming and the dog was frightened, so it helped to be down in the basement, so she could sit on my lap and shiver (and pant and drool), instead of running about tripping over her all the time. And that seemed like a good enough reason to have spend from 5 pm to 11 pm (except for a short break to eat, then to make my husband dinner when he got home) playing. And maybe, just maybe the weather will cooperate and I'll *have* to stay down there all this evening, too...
No, seriously, I didn't even turn on my computer last night! I haven't checked LJ in... over a day! Hopefully I'll have time to do some catching up at lunch today, if I can get a computer at the library. Otherwise... goodness knows when it will be.
Are all of you who encouraged me to buy one happy now?! Are you?!
To the rest of you, sorry I've been neglecting you.
