...so little energy to type. I was up too late watching the first season of Torchwood, I'm three disks in now. I'd seen some episodes here and there, but not really followed the whole thing. It looked a bit hokie in the previews (hence not watching it right away), but I really like it. Oh, when oh when will season 2 be out on DVD? There's no release date, just 'in the future' right now. Boo. More Dresden Files would be nice, too. I am definitely in a sci-fi/fantasy mood. I just need to stop before 1 am when I have to get up at 6... ish.
It snowed this weekend, was below freezing the morning... but it's supposed to warm up! 60s and 70s this week! Finally, spring might actually muscle in. In less than a month I'll be complaining that it's too bloody hot! Isn't that exciting?
Stay tuned for the following upcoming posts:
* The importance of man-made fibers and other things I learned at the baseball game
* Bulbs and Daleks: both are taking over the world, sofas will only protect you from one
* The battle of the skein: tangled tales from the front line and other stories
I accomplished nothing - I mean nothing - this weekend. Other than going to the baseball game and a saladmaster party thing (you know, where they demonstrate cookware and try to get you to buy some? Not that it was hard to resist buying, since their sets seem to start at $3,500 and go up to $8,000! I don't really buy most of what they say is fabulous about their cookware, either.). Oh, and I resisted my husband's attempts to get me to buy an Xbox 360. I've asked him now and again if he wanted one, but he never did - until now. Now, he's going at with with the single-minded determination of Ralphie from A Christmas Story. It'll be a battle to see how long it is until I crack. Because we all know I'll give in before he gives up, it's just a matter of time. And I wonder why I'm broke... :(
But! It's Monday, a new day, a new week, and time to get cracking on that monster to-do list. Well, after work. And probably not tonight, since I have book club and then we'll watch Top Gear. And that'll about do it for the evening. But Tuesday! Tuesday I will do something productive. *nods* Tuesday. And I will try to catch up on everyone, I've been awful and I feel bad. I hardly had my computer on this weekend, I know, how odd for me!
