I know it's not officially spring yet, but it was over 70 last weekend, and now... now it's snowing. I understand winter has its place, I like winter - to an extent. But I really, really, really wish this place would pick a season and stick to it. :(

(Random fun fact: the greatest temperature fluctuation I've experienced since living here was a day when it almost topped 80, and by late that night - just after midnight - the temperature had plummeted to around 20 with a wind chill around 0. Fun times, fun times.)

It's amazing, time seems to be passing slowly, and yet I'm still not getting as much done as I need to. Ugh. I love the envelope-stuffing portion of my job! Over 400 letters going out, yay. (and there was much rejoicing)

I need to find someone to go pseudo-antique shopping with. That is to say, spending hours someplace like Mass St. Antiques downtown looking for bargains. :) I've been in the mood to do that for ages. Not that I need more stuff, but who can resist the siren call of a good deal? And I do feel shop-y (I know, how girly of me!).

I ate too much at lunch for the second day in a row. I went out with a friend of mine who's been laid off, and I'm really feeling guilty about complaining about my job - I have one, so... You know. But it still sucks battling paper cuts.

I'd hoped to do a little work out in the yard this weekend, but it doesn't appear the weather will be cooperating. Boo.

Thus ends another pointless update made just because I can. ;)

It's... wing? sprinter? What's a good combination of winter and spring? Anyway, the poor bulbs are now covered in snow:

(shamelessly adjusted in Photoshop because it's really a grey, dreary day)

I only feel somewhat sorry for them, though, since they are growing up through the sod I had put down last fall. Oh, that's right, you can't just bury plants if they're bulbs, they'll come back! And even though I dug up hundreds and hundreds (no, not an exaggeration!) it seems a missed a few dozen. And, of course, they keep multiplying. *le sigh* As soon as the weather warms up I guess I have to go out there and dig them up. :/
