I would like to celebrate today because I got free chocolate, courtesy of a print-out voucher a colleague emailed round the office yesterday. HAPPY FREE CHOCOLATE DAY FOR MEEEE.
(On a less whimsical note, I remarked to a colleague today, "You know, if I wanted a romantic night out with my partner (if I had one), Feb 14th is the last day I would choose for it! You have to book way in advance to get a seat in a nice restaurant, which will be crowded with gooey smooching couples of disgustingness.")
It is also my cousin's birthday! Happy birthday to my cousin! He is... 20? Yes, I think that's right.
Free Chocolate Day is a day I could really get behind. Or would it be that it got on my behind? O.o
I agree about going out on Valentine's Day. It's like going to the gym on January 2nd. Besides, it's not like I need a special day to go out or be romantic, any day will do. And, yes, preferably one where advanced reservations are not needed!
Man, being born on Valentine's Day... somehow, I think the expectations would be a bit overwhelming...
