It's okay, we can rebuild them... stronger, better, faster...

On the up side (the down side being the excruciating pain, but that's okay, I'm sure you guys are worth it...) if I can force myself to stay up long enough (it's already after 11 pm, and I have to get up for work in 7 hours...) I can get these guys boxed up and sent out tomorrow. You know what? I'm going to sleep. The Post Office sucks on Mondays, anyway. I do promise to send them out on Tuesday, and I might also have boxes for [livejournal.com profile] gelsey and [livejournal.com profile] tarpo, and envelopes with quilt kits for the Snerffle people, too! If you're curious, the red one if for [livejournal.com profile] nakedblueninja, the green and off-white striped on for [livejournal.com profile] alankria, and the black and white one for [livejournal.com profile] auraesque.

More cards will also be going out tomorrow (some went out on Friday, some will head out a little later due to me having to pick up something to put in them). I also (SQUEE!) got lovely cards from [livejournal.com profile] icecat and [livejournal.com profile] wolffepsyche. Y'all rock!

Of course, now I want to make myself a Cleveland Browns octopus, complete with a little helmet, which would mean I'd have to make a KU one as well. ...maybe next weekend...

I'm guessing those are two sports teams... and the idea is they would tear each other limb from limb on the field?

Ooooh, Cephalopod soccer!
Tuesday, December 18th, 2007 03:02 am (UTC)
Manchester United is soccer (British Premier League) and Collingwood is Aussie rules.

They might find it difficult to play on the same field!

Ohhhh My hands ache just looking at all those tiny loops. Owwwww.

May you receive oodles of lovely crafty reciprocal gifts or at least lots more ewwwws & ahhhs

Yeah, my wrist is not happy with me. I think the sewing together was tougher, it required more tugging. Also, holding on to the smaller bits (as opposed to, saw, a blanket) was more of a strain.

The ooohs and ahhhs are much appreciated! Everyone seems to love them. :)

Oh they're so adorable!!! Are they crocheted?

HAHA a Cleveland Browns octopus. Ted's a Steelers fan. I guess you two are obliged to hate each other now. :D

They are, though I toyed with the idea of trying to turn it into a knit pattern, as well.

My hubby likes the Chiefs and the Steelers, so I think I could be civil to Ted... most of the time... Except maybe over the next few weeks...
