It’s the ninth day ‘fore Christmas, and I’m not so cheery.

Four tangled lights
Three garlands
Two broken bulbs
And I’ve still not put up the damn tree

I didn't bother with the tree this year. My excuse was that we're going to TX on the 27th, and I didn't want to have to take the tree down by then (we usually get a real one). Of course I do have a few fake 2' trees, but just couldn't bring myself to bother. So, my son's stocking is hung on the wine rack and the gifts are on the bookshelf. Good enough.
