Clips? Finding hair clips that could in any way hold my hair is a mythical quest. It will never, ever happen.

Actually, I'm having trouble finding hair ties that are sturdy enough to withstand my hair. The biggest, thickest ones I can find, I snap ona regular basis.

*sigh*

These are some of the many reasons why I've chopped all my hair off so many many times before...

And yet you havne't shorn your hair off yet... Odd... Are we losing our steely nerve? ;) Are we all talk and no action now? :D

I've been looking for headband type things, even, and can't find any of those that work. I did find some great ponytail holders, they're really thick and don't have any metal. They're not cheap, but SO worth it!

I still haven't found a hair clip that holds my hair worth a hoot.

If you find any of the mythical clips, please, I'll pay you for some if you just buy me some too. There's a reason I don't do much with my hair clip-wise ... they just don't work.

Trust me, if I ever find any good, reasonably priced ones (Clare lists a site below that has some, but YIPES! are they expensive) I'm buying the store out! And I might be convinved to share...

Ah! Those are *expensive* though. I have such a hard time spending money on things like that (partly because my hubby will pick them up and fidgit with them, ultimately breaking them). But maybe someday I'll splurge on some of those...

It would take a lot of fidgeting to break a Ficcare... in fact, I wonder if it can be done. These are hardcore clips. The only damage I've ever heard of being done for them is the enamel getting scratched or coming off.

My hubby is a special case. He once broke an 'indestructable' sledgehammer. I'm pretty sure nothing is beyond his capabilities...

I'm a pencil girl myself, though I do have one clip I love, it's flat on the side that is against my head, so it's far more comfortable than most.

I love pencils. I have a heap of hairsticks, but always seem to end up with a pencil on my head. But people are so annoying! I get the 'it that all that's holding up your hair?' *tugs on pencil*

Me: *swats at them* 'Yes.'
