Another Insta-Prize Round! No, I haven't forgotten the prizes for the last one, they're on the table and ready to mail out on Tuesday (Monday being a holiday and all that!). This is another really simple round... Just tell me what this is:
My first thought was concrete, but its awful thin unless it's durock. So I'm leaning towards the underside of a tile or a pumice stone. Unless it's a chunk of a CMU from your basement that separated because of the leaks.
Is it part of the basement, sliced out in the middle of the night to be added to an entirely-too-bizarre pile of oddments and concrete that will one night, when there is sufficient mass, be zapped by thousands of volts and millions of amps from God's own alchemy lab's electric scraps and turned into THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN'S BASEMENT CRACK, Carlina?
I have thought and thought and thought on this. Once again I am a little perplexed, though I'm sure it has something to do with Carl and his family.
Ooooh, it's the anti-Carl, right? Like the anti-Christ except good, yeah?
Okay, really. My best guess is it's a piece of unpolished granite or marble. Perhaps concrete, maybe. But I'd probably stick with one of the former too.
take this as you will

It probably came from a broken garden walking tile or something.

This is not my area of expertise. :(
