The latest news post shows how to disable sponsored (or all ) v-gifts. When I went to my page, I found that, as a paid user, my level defaulted to 'disable sponsored v-gifts'.

Yeah, it's a small step for LJ... and that's about it.

I have too much time on my hands, that's why I keep up on it. I imagine if I was a college student, I wouldn't be so involved...
