More Harry Potter stuff

I've been working on the Harry Potter spell magnets on and off for a few days, and let me tell you - it's tough! I also tried out the wand made from paper and hot glue, only to find it's way harder than it looks. For me, at least. Everyone else seems to think it's really easy. :/

Also, I went through the Leaky Cauldron website and culled the spells they have there... and came up with over 60! That's a lot of spells.

So if you were going to get spell magnets in your package, it may not be a whole set now. You may request certain spells, and I will try to accommodate.

And, finally, I read that 'spoiler' that's been going around. Actually, there are two. One purports to be the entire book, and that was shown as flase. So if you saw a .pdf of the 'book', it was a piece of fanfiction called 'Harry Potter and the Seven Horicruxes' written by, according to all accounts, a pretty good fanfiction writer. If you like fanfiction, it may be worth checking out. But it's not real. The second purports to be from someone who hacked into the publisher's computer, and 'Gabriel' is trying to spoil the book so no one will read it and all the Neo-Paganism will blah blah blah... To sum up, I think he's a nutjob. But I did copy the 'spoiler' down so I can laugh about it after I read the book. Because I'd bet my favorite quilt top (I love making the tops, hate the quilting...) he's wrong.

In a way I'm going to be sad that it's all over in a week. Sure, there will be more movies, but that's not the same. It's times like these I really do understand fanfiction - people don't want to give up their favorite characters just because the author is done. So they continue on. Fortunately, my aforementioned short attention span will mean I'm on to something else in no time at all...

On a final note, there are bugs dropping from the ceiling in my office. So far, none have hit me, but... ugh. Not pleasant.

Yay spell magnets! If you want more of the spells, I believe that the HP Lexicon (www.hp-lexicon.org) is a good source as well.

Not a clue. They're small and beetle-like, but only about 1/4 inch long and about as wide.

Ooh, I want to read the anti-pagan "spoiler" when I've read the book. Sounds fun. (But I don't want it now, because I saw a spoiler last time, and even though I really didn't believe it I couldn't stop thinking about it...)

I have not been 'spoilered' up to my ears, but I don't really care at this point. I'll be one of the stupid ones who chooses not to believe until I read the book, anyway. Which, according to most people, I could do now if I wanted to do it off of grainy photographs!

I heard of a spoiler and I hope they're wrong. The asshole had it in bold and even had pictures up of the people they said died. I was so pissed, even if they're wrong.

And: EW!!! The most I have to put up with is dead roaches in the women's bathroom.

I've heard lots of spoilers, including the fact that the whole book's been leaked already. It's probably true, but seriously my fan-status has waned so much in the last 8 hours I'm not too concerned...

Yeah, at least these are smaller than the last one that took the plunge. Still icky, but much more 'flickable'.

The magnets are cool, if more of a pain in the butt than first imagined. I'm kinda wondering if it would have been easier to put them on sheet magnets (which would have been thinner, but easier to line up) instead of the roll o'magnet.
