Today, I have been married for 10 years. A decade! Seems like forever. Or only yesterday. Whichever seems more complimentary, I suppose.
Thus far I have celebrated by:
Staying home from work to have my crack epoxied
Reading a book
Baking cupcakes using root beer and a white cake mix (not a root boozy as I'd have liked)
Playing far too much Jewel Quest
Napping
Also, there are presents, naturally. When asked what I wanted for my anniversary, I replied 'nothing'. Because we're already spending so much money on the basement and all, you know. So hubby said he would, indeed, get me nothing. We're going to get it this weekend.
My 'nothing'.
Get it? *snicker* That hubby of mine, so clever!
Also, the obligatory sparkly.

It's a vacuum. ;) As in, a place where there is nothing, not even air.

*decides to be nice on today of all days*
Gotta love that targeted advertising! But at least you're getting e-mails. *grump* Not even my Message Center is working!

Though I'm not entirely sure how you two can be excited over a vacuum...maybe it's an adult thing. ;)

Since we're going to have the basement fully carpeted, I didn't want to have to drag my one (old) vacuum up and down two flights of stairs. Sure, I'll still have to get one from up or down stairs to vacuum the middle floor, but there's not much carpeting there, anyway.
But yeah, it's an adult thing, too. I was also ridiculously happy about a new washer and dryer!

That necklace is indeed sparkly, and awesome. I ♥ black pearls.

I really only like the black pearls. I've never been as fond of the garden variety white strand.

And while ten years may be a bunch of years, it's not really a lot of time.
Has hubby learned the proper answer to, "How long have you been married?" The answer is, "Not long enough." At least when the little lady is within earshot.
I agree that there's nothing like a good brisk nap to celebrate a special day.

Napping = the best thing EVER.

Happy anniversary!!!
I see I've already been beaten to the crack joke, so I'll let it lie. ;)

Yup, nice sparkly... If you could, give em a kick in the ass for raising the bar for the rest of us guys... :/
My wife and I just celebrated our 3rd anniversary, spending it at the lung health clinic watching her force all the air out of her lungs for a stupid asthma measurement. Made all the more enjoyable because she had pnumonia (or as I call it Pug-nomia). At least we had a nice dinner... :)

Wow, that sucks. Here's to a better 4th... and 5th... and 6th... (and so on)
I had to do that breathing thing after my surgery. It's quite annoying! I feel for her (and because I can't help myself...) and not just because she's married to you... :O Oh no I didn't! ;)

And HAHAHAHAHA that's the best 'nothing' present I've ever heard of! :D
