Yesterday I stopped off at the post office on my way home to mail the HELOC stuff, and while using the automated postal machine thingee (that's its official name, I swear!) I found my first Bookcrossing book. It's Learning Curves by Cindi Myers, and the poor thing's only been to Ohio and Kansas. The best I might be able to do is release it in Missouri after I read it.
I've toyed with the idea of 'releasing' some books, but I'd be broken-hearted when (if) they 'disappeared'. I think half the fun would be tracking the books after they're gone, to see what fun and exciting places they've been.
Oh goodness. These books are having more fun than I am! I need a vacation... :(

Maybe this book will have to travel to Tennessee...

I'm looking at this bookcrossing thing, and it's really very interesting. Perhaps when I have a bit of spare change I'll buy a small kit and release several books I have laying around.
... apparently TN is as illiterate as I feared. There's very few hunting grounds around here.

Of course, printing them out requires I go buy black ink. Erg. I've been printing things out in blue lately.
