Sweet, sweet Fall, finally! October is the awesome-est month for so many reasons - fall, pumpkins, Halloween... it's also usually the annual "walk three 5ks in 24 hours" insanity, but, thanks, Covid, for squashing that this year!
I got an amazing grade on my Project Management presentation, about over-reward and motivational techniques... this slide was inspired by a very crazy friend of mine...

Broke a very, very old pair of sneakers

Realized my obsession with Animal Crossing might be reaching a peak when I momentarily got super-excited about finding real-life pine cones, before I realised they wouldn't help me craft more things in the game

Dropped my (home) phone in a sink full of water (yes, I still have a home phone, and yes, it made a full recovery)

Broke another pair of very old shoes

Cleaned out the freezer and found a frozen gummy bear from when we cast them to make jewelry for the Gummy Bear dance... how many years ago?!

It's about October time I start to panic about not having accomplished much in the year, and this year was no exception. The idea of next year's goal book, the things I wanted to get done this year, the looming holidays... that's when they start to get to me. Plus the days start to get shorter and the weather greyer... without the fun of the usual events the winter blahs crept in a lot earlier than usual!
