I was going to neatly space out these entries over the month of December, but now they're just going to be spewed all at once at the end of the year. It's a fitting way to end 2020, I think, with a messy, half-hearted attempt at something!
I was home the entire month of April, except one Monday, I think, at the end of April when I went in to work. Part of the problem, though, was they wouldn't tell us when we were going back to work, and everything felt very day by day, so it was hard to embark on any huge projects. Well, that and laziness. I did get a few things done, starting with some WIPs that had been languishing forever!
Crochet Cow:

Crochet Raven:

We're All Mad Here Cross-Stitch, in way too small a fabric for eyes my age now!

I wound all of my cross-stitch floss onto bobbins while watching Rosemary and Thyme for the hundredth time (I love that show!):

And I made a decent showing of cleaning up my craft room. ALL of that progress is lost, though, since I brought a ton of stuff home from work AND my friend gave me tons of craft supplies...

The highlight of the month might have been our toilet paper find (we were down to a single remaining extra role):

...or the nine billion hours I spent playing Animal Crossing:

You'd think, being home, this would have been the year I FINALLY got my yard under control and landscaped, but... you'd be wrong. I sent this picture to a gardening fanatic friend just to make her twitch...

I honestly wish I could go back to that time, staying home was amazing! I'm already ready to retire, that's for sure. I know some people say they worry they won't know what to do with themselves when they retire, but... not me, I have plenty to keep me busy. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy I have a job, and even more so that I got paid to stay home. That was amazing, and it feel greedy to want more, but of course I do. Because it was amazing.
May marked a return to work and a steady decline in the terribleness of the year. Lockdown was, weirdly enough, the highlight of my year.
