Where there really two normal months at the beginning of the year? It's so hard to remember! Though, to be honest, with the exception of the volunteering and the lack of book club (sniff) things are mostly back to normal for me. I learned I am a serious hermit...

Peru! I remember Peru. She was scrawny and (sorry, but it's true) disgusting when she came to the shelter, and there was an open house before she'd had a bath. Sweetest thing, though! I saw a picture of her a few months after she was adopted and it was like looking at a totally different dog! Fluffy and soft looking, she'd put on much needed weight and looked so, so happy! I do miss volunteering...

Creepy stairwell. My hatred of elevators has led me to some creepy stairwells, this isn't the worst, but it's not great (it looks a lot brighter in this picture than it did in real life). This was at the hospital, and I think I was there to see a neurologist about my hip/leg pain, which I'd been to PT about with no relief. It's still a problem, I've given up on solving it, honestly.
