This week is starting off as sucky as the last one.
Shadow doesn't want to go up/down stairs. I know she's getting up there (12! *sob*) but I'm hoping it's whatever it was a year or so ago, when it resolved itself (her tummy is really gurgly, I'm hoping it's just really bad gas pain/mild blockage (though she seems to be going to the bathroom okay). Thankfully she's only 30 lbs, so we can carry her up/down the stairs. She seems okay walking on level ground. Ergh.
I didn't get anything in my craft room done. ARGH! And I need to wrap up my Little Visitor swap, plus the HP swap, and I do want to sign up for the cryptozoology swap. So I really really really need to get that room done - plus I took off labor day week to work on the bathroom, so I need my craft room done before that. All I have left is the quarter round, trimming/reattaching the doorframe, the threshhold, and putty/touch-up paint. Hopefully Tuesday and Wednesday after work I can get that done.
I did watch Deadgirl this weekend - it was listed as one of the best zombie movies, not the one of the 'best of the worst' that I've been watching. Let me tell you, that was one freaky, disturbing movie. The characters will turn your stomach if you really think about it. It's also very graphically disturbing, and not in a blood-and-guts way. I will spare your sensibilities and say no more, but on the whole I think it did deal with the really disturbing side of (some) human nature pretty well (in that it portrayed the evil people as evil and twisted and very wrong). Hardcore horror fans - especiallly those that like psycologically disturbing things - should watch it, though the acting isn't the best I've ever seen. Casual movie watchers should really stay away.
