(Fun fact - Microsoft Outlook tries to auto-correct the emoticon O.o to OYO)
(Another not-so-fun fact: I really have to admit that I have a yarn problem. It wouldn't be so bad if I actually had all the time to make all the projects I intend to, but... I don't, and my buying is outpacing my using)
Step one of OYO: gather up the loose yarn in the house. That's the stuff that was on the floor in the craft room, still in bags around the house, and scattered here and there.

Step two of OYO: then take all the yarn out of the various storage areas and gather is ALL together (after I took this picture I did realize I'd missed... well, a bit. 4 skeins on the middle floor, a folding craft-bin-thing in the basement, and a small box in the bedroom. But this is by far most of it)

(the bin on the floor is Tetris Afghan 2.0, and since it was already divided out, I thought I'd leave it together - that bin slides under the bed so it's easy toforget about pull out and work on while I'm watching TV)
Step three of OYO (upcoming): catalog and sort the yarn into known projects, yarn types, etc. This will require fortification with Lime Tostidos and sour cream and salsa, though, so it will begin after my trip to the grocery store.
