I went into the bathroom under construction and... one of the tiles had fallen off. I've never had that happen. Sure, I can mix up a little mortar and slap it back on, and I checked the other tiles and they seem sturdy, but... I'm just not happy with that bathroom. The walls are wonky (the house is older) and the drywall doesn't sit right and I just have no motivation to finish it because it sucks. If I had the money, I'd have it all ripped out and redone professionally, but I don't. And, besides, they'd have to jury-rig it unless they wanted to do frame work, too. So what's the difference?
It just bummed me out. I need to get it done. I want to take a week off work, but... when?!
Project due this week, conference two days next week (plus mandatory training), my boss is off parts of the two weeks after that (and we should have a project out to bid, so I do have to be here to answer questions, especially if he's gone). So... the week of March 18? And that's only if there aren't contractor meetings and/or the project has bid. Week after that my boss is gone two days... And then it's April. I guess that's only five weeks away. *sigh*
