I can't decide if I should go bullet point or rambling in this post. Rambling bullet points, then?
Movies:
Plan 9 from Outer Space is complete awesomely terrible and everyone should watch it. Now.
Aaahh! Zombies!! is fun, and it tells the story from the zombie's perspective. It's campy and funny and worth watching.
Quarantine was okay. A bit too good to be good-bad, but not good enough to be good-good. Pretty decent creepy ending, though a bit to much screaming overall for my taste.
Heart of Glass is an experiment that should never have been done. Apparently the filmmaker had all the actors hypnotised to get the right 'creepy' feeling, but it just comes off as bad. Add in that it's in German, has horrid grainly footage and a soundtrack that sound ripped off from a 70s porn, and you can probably understand why I only made it through 15 minutes.
Inception was disappointing. Maybe it was all the hype, but I expected more. We both called the ending 5 minutes into the movie, and then it was a looooong wait of 'yeah yeah, and?'. I suppose the effects were good, but it lacked anything wow-y.
Tangled was cute, the animal characters stealing the show as usual for Disney. I liked it enough to watch it the once, but I don't think it's one I'll have the urge to watch again and again.
Craft swaps
Still in the middle of Little Visitor 14, just signed up for Return to Hogwarts 2, and I *will* be signing up for One Tiny Discworld Thing if it becomes a swap. Yeah, yeah, I know...
Craft Room
Still not finished. Moving on...
Books
Listened to The Forest of Hands and Teeth and The Dead-Tossed Waves, two YA zombie novels. Way too much teen girl angst, but some interesting zombie plot-points. Don't think I'll bother with the third in the series, they don't have it on audiobook and I really don't want to waste time reading it. I'm sure I've read more lately, but I don't really keep track. I need to start using Goodreads, like I said I was going to (for years now) but...
