So the one thing I was absolutely going to get done this weekend? Didn't get done. My desk is cleaner than it was, but isn't done. Part of the problem is that there are things on my desk that don't have a home, and I don't know what to do with them.
A bigger part of the problem was I had other things I wanted to do more.
My friend called on Sunday, I'd kiiiiiinda forgotten I'd told her we'd go craft shopping and make her one of those fabric/ribbon bulletin boards for her nursery. That ended up taking up about 5 hours, by the time all was said and done.
Then I had to finish watching Supernatural S4, because it's due back at the library today. I'm going to have to wait probably 2 1/2 months for S5, and strangely I'm okay with that. Yes, it ended on a cliffhanger, but... the religious storyline didn't interest me as much as the funny little throw-away episodes. I admit, I am much more a fan of comedy. And in a recent episode I kinda had to agree with the 'monster'. So. Plus, I have seen ENOUGH of Sam's angsty flaring nostrils to last me a lifetime. So why watch? The music, the clever little things in the background (when they were reprogrammed in a recent episode into 'Dean Smith' and 'Sam Wesson' - ah how punny!). But, yeah, very very very tired of Sam's 'I'm about to lose control' face.
I also started to work on some new beaded stitch markers, but hit a snag I need to ponder. I'm not sure how I'm going to work it out. I need to try a few more things. Maybe even scrap what I've done and start over. Hmmmm.
Tonight, though, I will... go to book club. We'll see if I manage the desk. :/
