What is Snerfflebarglast?
‘Snerffle’ (as it is referred to by veterans) is a completely nonsense contest in which I ask my friends to be witty and creative, and reward them with arbitrary points. In the end, there is a winner (who gets bragging rights) but everyone is eligible to trade in their Snerffle points at the SnerffleShop (opening soon) for crap, er, lovely handmade crafts and other virtual prizes (icons, stories, etc).
What do you mean ‘Internet Scavenger Hunt Edition’?
This Snerffle is being played over multiple platforms (Facebook, Livejournal, Dreamwidth, Twitter) I can’t screen the comments effectively. So I can’t ask any questions with definite answers. Thus, a scavenger hunt.
How do I play?
Just find me what I ask for in each of the rounds, collect your points, and trade them in for junk… er, great prizes.
Really, you expect me to do your internet legwork for a few crummy handmade pieces of crap?
No, not really. But you can’t fault me for trying.
Why do you do this?
I make a lot of crap and the only way I’ve found I can get rid of it is to foist it on people.
How long will I have?
I’m thinking this Sneffle will be the usual 11 rounds (these go to 11!) and each round will run 1-2 weeks. You can answer the questions at any time, so even after round 11 goes up, you can still go back and play rounds 1-10. Once round 11 closes, and the winner announced, the contest is over and you’ll have two weeks to redeem your points.
