But I shall refrain. Because I'm all un-emo like that. But I am stuck listening to one song over and over and over, not because I think it 'speaks' to me, I just like it. It is a less-than-cheerful song, though. Anyway.

I have not updated lately, but I suppose I can be forgiven for not typing much after the frantic last few days of NaNo. Really, I need to stop doing that. I've proven I can do it, why keep doing it over and over again? Because I like pain? Because I like irritating those around me? Perhaps.

Anywho, I should be getting back to normal, telling you all about the spectacularly boring (pleasant, but boring) thing that is my life. Tonight I patched the ceiling in the garage. Woohoo! It's not permanent... well, it could be, but the stuff around it really needs to be replaced. They put it up with nails, and it's sagging. I don't feel like pulling down even more ceiling, though, so I stuff insulation up there and slapped some drywall up, sealing the joints with duct tape. All I care about is the pipes not freezing.

Still working on Daily Crane, missing a day here and there (it's not always easy to think of things you're happy about, especially when dealing with home improvement!). I had an idea the other day, but it didn't work out. We'd gone to IHOP for dinner, and I was all set to be happy that they had gotten their old mints back (last time we went I noticed the pillowy soft mints were back - they'd switched to hard peppermints, but apparently so many people had complained that they went back to the old ones!) but THEY WERE OUT! No little basket of mints. :( So not happy.

My CD player is making the room smell like burning plastic. That is bad, yes? I need to open a window but it's 24*F out. Hrm. Maybe it's just that it's been unplugged awhile. If I pass out from toxic fumes before I finish typing this... uh... you'll never know. Alrighty then.

I suppose I should go work on Snerffle stuff, I have TONS to knit, but I hurt my shoulder ripping drywall down out of the bathroom (and the ceiling repair probably didn't help) and I don't feel like it. I'd watch TV, but nothing is on. Aimless net surfing it is!

I leave you with: great moments in stupidity (part 4967265) - A very nice person gave me red and green ducks, very Christmasy! Of course, the engineer in me thought, gee, that's most of a traffic light! I just need yellow. But where could I possibly find a *yellow* duck...?
