...if you read the book, the least of your questions will be why the woman on the cover is purple. It could just be the book is old and the ink has faded, but there's no excuse for what's inside...

In general, there's a lot of unfunny - the book was written in the 60s, and you can imagine the prevailing views on women and minorities. The basic idea is that two young ladies on their way to the big city end up in some rustic backwater shacked up with a traveling poet, an Indian, and the man from Deliverance a creepy old man.

What could possibly go wrong?

And to think this got published, while my crochet hook/knitting needle porn is doomed to spend eternity in obscurity...
