Bwahahahahahaha! Ahem. Sorry, got a little carried away there. Today I head off to work and my new Windows 7-equipped computer. Yes, I know it's not available yet. But we're guinea pigs special!
I will probably be updating my Twitter about it as I experience the joy (hopefully just the joy) of the sparkly new operating system, though I will probably make a round-up post at the end of the day here, too. If anyone has any questions they want me to try to answer, just ask! I'll try out things for you and help you make the decision to ditch Vista and move on to better things (not that I'm biased... though I have heard it is a million times better than Vista).
The down side? Office 2007. Which is very different and not in a good way. At least AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 has somewhat equipped me to deal with the 'ribbon' style of menus, still, I don't see what was wrong with the old versions (grump grump grump). I guess as long as all of the keyboard commands still work, I don't use much else, but it irks to have that much screen real estate gobbled up.
Eeek! I'm supposed to be leaving for work now, and I'm not even dressed. Why is it every time I get up early I end up getting so far behind?
