Today's bits of tid

I saw a Police Mobile Unit set up on the road on my way to work (luckily far away from my house, a far cry from the time a SWAT team assembled right outside the townhouse). They weren't trying to be inconspicuous, they had flashing lights, so I can only hope they weren't trying to sneak up on anyone. But if this was an attempt to make me look at the news, it has failed. I'd rather read all the bad porn (in its entirety) that's ever been submitted to weepingcock than touch the news right now.

In other news, my rose bush is out to kill me. It stabbed me the other day and my finger is very sore and slightly swollen. I react badly to roses, everytime one scratches me it seems it gets very angry and red, more so than other scratches.

SQUID 1.0 IS COMPLETE! Sadly, due to the way he was constructed (not joining the rounds) his eyes are a little lopsided and he has a face only a mother could love. So I may be looking into a home for him, since I can't even try to sell him. So, if you're interested in a foster-squid, let me know. There will be a rigorous screening process, and it's a big responsibility raising a squid. Successful applicant must not mind giant ink stains. Pictures forthcoming.
