I totally know what day it is
You ever just have one of those days where everything is going so swimmingly and life is great right up to the point you realize that yes, it would be a great day, if it was tomorrow...
Lemme explain. I got up early this morning and didn't go back to bed after taking the dog out. I checked my e-mail and played Bejewelled Blitz on Facebook, getting a new high score and moving back into second place. I found the title to the old car we need to mail in, but I didn't bring it to work because I wouldn't have time to mail it what with the walking group we started at work. I even remember to wear comfortable shoes for the Thursday afternoon walking geoup, and was looking forward to my Thursday evening belly dancing class, despite my horridly sore arm.
I took the Mustang to work since strong storms were forcasted - I remember talking with the surveying crew about when they'd be able to survey, and Thursday was the only clear day, otherwise I probably wouldn't have known what the weather was going to be. Sure enough, I saw some lightning on the way to work, but it wasn't raining yet and I was early enough to stop in at the grocery store for some food at work. But not too much, since I only had two days left this week to eat it.
Are you seeing the problem with this wonderful morning yet? I realized it at about 7:30... I'm not sure what reminded me, I was just talking to a co-worker and suddenly said, "oh my god what day is it?" The answer was, of course, Wednesday. Wednesday, the day I signed up to go to the seminar (which luckily I didn't have to be at until 8 and was relatively close, I did make it). Wednesday, the day that magically and unfailingly shows up every week right after Tuesday. Wednesday, a day such the bane of my existance I apparently simply do not acknowledge it.
