Official Press Release
Argon Laboratories, Propulsion Division
N-113 Class II Hyperdrive System
Argon Laboratories is happy to announce the N-113 Class II Hyperdrive System is fully operational, and will provide a completely clean source of energy for the Starship Herald in its exploration of the galaxy. As many of you who have followed our research know, the N-113 is based, in part, on psychic energy in the form of Nerouticine Particles. This psychic energy was discovered in 2056 in a small laboratory outside of White Plains, Arizona, when a particularly heated and pedantic debate took place inside of hydrogen-engine development lab. The now famous 'here vs. there' debate is legendary, laying the foundation for all of our work.
What was discovered in that lab is that when people are exposed to something that irritates their psyche, small particles - the now-famous Nerouticine Particles - are released. When harnessed, these particles can be filtered through a simple carbon medium and used to power a fuel-cell engine similar to the early hydrogen engines. Through rigorous testing and years of design, Argon Laboratories is proud to present the N-113 Class II Hyperdrive System, the most efficient engine of its type.
When properly staffed by very grammar-conscious individuals exposed to nothing but Myspace, the engine can produce the equivalent energy to that of a small sun, enabling us to finally reach the speed of light.
